FAN Hoi Kit (Alex Fan)

Mr FAN Hoi Kit (Alex Fan), born in 1987, of Hong Kong SAR, PRC, graduated from the University of Hong Kong and King's College London, holder of Master of Laws (LLM), Associate of King's College London (AKC), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). Currently, he is a Board Member of HIAC, Hong Kong barrister in private practice, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lawyer, and Adjunct Professor of Hong Kong Baptist University. He was appointed the first President of HIAC. He also serves as Standing Committee Member of the 8th Session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Hainan Provincial Committee, Vice President of Hainan Overseas Friendship Association, Member of the Expert Committee on the Building of International Commercial Arbitration Centers of the Ministry of Justice, Panel Arbitrator of Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (GZAC) and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediator, as well as Appointed Mediator of Guangdong Provincial Higher People's Court. Further, he is Member (Legal Sector) of the 6th Session of the Election Committee of the Hong Kong SAR, President of International Youth Legal Exchange Federation, Member of the Expert Advisory Group on Legal and Dispute Resolution Services as well as Member of the Working Group on Coordination and Liaison of the Steering Committee on Rule of Law Education of the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong SAR. He has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution, company law, land law, trust law, and international commercial arbitration, etc.
